About Geller Guides
About Tom
Tom Geller started Geller Guides in 2006 after fifteen years in journalism, publishing, public relations, and training. He began in college, laying out a local newspaper on an early computer-based program and editing his first book. He continued to work in layout and design until 1994, when he started writing software reviews for technology publisher Ziff Davis, eventually becoming an editor at MacWEEK.
He switched to public relations in 1997, providing representation and written materials for a roster of high-tech clients that included Qualcomm, Topica, and Brightmail. After founding a nonprofit antispam organization in 2001, he received his California Real Estate Broker's license and traveled throughout the state for Fidelity National, delivering technology training for escrow officers. He now uses his diverse experience to produce materials in his fields of expertise and oversee writers in areas tangential to those fields.
He lives in San Francisco, where he enjoys urban bicycle touring and performs occasionally at local cabarets.
